Public Show Day

Saturday makes way to the public show day where the Cheese Pavilion with all its exhibits are open to the General Public. The Frome Agricultural and Cheese Show attracts some 18,000 people offering entertainment for the whole family from main ring attractions to livestock showing

This year’s event is set to be a feast for all the senses with a huge food hall, fantastic arena attractions, shopping galore, music stage and astounding cheese pavilion. Enjoy all the trimmings of a traditional country show with rural competitions in everything from vegetable growing and crochet to livestock showing and show jumping.

Find out what goes on down at the farm with the big machinery demos, the hilarious Hogg Show and the Animal Nursey with lots of furry friends ready to meet you!

Making a very special guest appearance on the stage this year will be the fantastic children’s entertainer Gem from Swashbuckle so get ready for some pirate fun.

Our Trade stands areas will be stacked to the rafters normally attracting over 300 traders attending the show from local produce, scrummy cakes, to beautiful homemade goods with demonstration stands a plenty!
